[Connectivity] Cat5 cable - No dial tone

I recently replaced my old phone wiring, with a new cat5 cable. I followed instructions as to which colors match up at both the junction box and new jack inside the house. I only need one phone line. My internet works great now (faster than before), but now my phone is not working. There is no dial tone, just kind of dead noise. Any tips or answers as to where I may have gone wrong? Thanks!
