Looking at the usage meter for our account. it appears quite possible we could go over our data cap - just from unsolicited tcp connections being broadcasted to us.
Right now, our router it set to silently drop those unsolicited connections w/o sending anything back to their source. But they keep coming even w/o any tcp ack packets to keep the connections running. And they keep counting against our data.
I could very easily set our router to send tcp resets and unreachables. But is that a good idea which has any chance of making the unsolicited traffic quit it?
