OK something weird is going on and comcast is useless to help.MY connection went down Saturday I spent all day that day and part of Sunday on the phone with these guys. The modem would crash they would tell me to reset it.IT would work for 5 minutes to an hour then crash to us/ds flashing again over and over.Finally they tell me to take my modem in and trade it for another on Monday.I go get a new modem plug it in and bam same thing they can't even get into it to provision it.So they send a guy out yesterday and he checks the line says nothings wrong plugs another new modem in it works for about 2 hours then crashes to us/ds blinking just like the last two.This leads to now.About and hour ago it finally connected of it own accord.IT is a very slow connection I call and have them check the modem.they say its fine.Now here is the thing the old modem connected to Memphis Tn which makes since because that's where I am.the new one show it as connection to Wichita, Kansas.THe connect is total crap and also the tel light on this modem won't stop blinking even thought we do not have phone service thought comcast.On the old modem this light was never on and it was the exact same model as this one.Sorry for the long winded post ,But I work from home and 4 days with no internet and now a very slow connection that I feel like could crash again at any second has me really stressed out.
Any Ideas what might be going one because it's obvious that comcast tech is clueless at this point.
