Speeds/Ping/DSL Reports Speed Test Repeatedly Fails

Denver, CO Motorola MB7420 Firmware 7420-5.7.1.31 Hello, I apologize that this is a bit all over the place, I am baffled by it and several different (possibly related) things are happening. I have been noticing much higher than usual ping and very slow upload times when playing games, in voice chat, etc. whether wireless on my work laptop or wired (through a router) on my desktop. I took the router out of the equation and it was still happening, so I went and picked up a new modem and unfortunately it was still happening. Throughout all of this the DSLReports speed test has not worked, but other speed tests do (speedof.me and speedtest.net specifically). I get a variety of errors on DSLReports with all extensions disabled across multiple browsers on multiple computers, wired or wireless, router or directly connected to the modem: Browser could not reach ANY server! Perhaps an extension like NO SCRIPT is blocking things. error:7 Timeout doing a trial download error:8 Blocked doing a trial download error:8 This browser cannot reach all 4 local test servers error:7 The error persists even when using http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?httpsok=0. To further complicate things as of a couple hours ago I'm getting typical upload speeds (6 Mbps or so) on other speed tests (wired), but the speed test here is still failing. Out of 17 attempts two were successful, though one did say, "13 from 18 streams failed to start. See error:11". and the other started off strong then dropped to kbps toward the end. Here are those tests: I am lost on multiple fronts. Seeing as this is happening with my upload speed/ping (or was :uhh:) regardless of the hardware in question, it would seem like it's an ISP thing, but I don't know how to convince them of this. So I guess I have two questions: A. Is the issue I'm having with the DSLReports speed test likely related to whatever is screwing up my upload/ping? B. Is there any further testing I should try and/or do you think whatever is causing this will be something an on-site tech will be able to identify? Thank you!
