Hi, I live in BOSTON/MA suburb of Jamaica Plain.
I am a verizon/DSL customer for a looong time.
Recently, my DSL line gets dropped 2-3 times a mounth and couple days at a time.
And connection speed is pathetic at 0.2-0.7M/0.2-0.3M.
I am thinking to ditch verizon for good. Which cable modem should I buy?
I looked at comcast web page for a list of approved cable modems but when I read reviews for each modems on amazon/newegg/etc.., I found that each modem works better at different location (states/towns).
Which modem is best for BOSTON suburb?
Which modem does comcast provide when you rent one?
Should I just rent one for a month and buy the same model?
