I've had business class since I switched from Verizon DSL. I've fulfilled two contracts now for four years of service.
I started with the 16/2 service, upgraded to 22/5 and then 50/10 with business. I'm paying $109/month + fees/rental/etc.
Since comcast hasn't enforced the cap in some time now, I was thinking of switching back to the residential service and getting the 150/20 for $90/month (12 months) and then 114/month thereafter. Essentially tripling my speed for the same price.
Only issue is, I am definitely a "heavy user". I don't subscribe to TV service, and my girlfriend and I are very heavy streamers. I can estimate our usage average per month at roughly 2.5TB combined up/down each month.
Could I just switch back to residential until such time as caps are re-enforced and then switch back to business if needed, or should I just suck it up and stick with my 50/10 indefinitely?
My current contract with business is up in three months, so I'd be doing this in july or so.
