Yesterday I was upgraded to the free 105 Extreme Speeds. Rep said it would take an hour and to then reboot. Did that, no Joy. Waited 24 hours, rebooted, then factory reset my TG862G still no Joy.
New chat rep pushes config file, Joy, almost. Upload doubled, down stayed the same. Transferred to new rep who concluded that my TG862G was not compatable with the Extreme 105 speeds. I asked him to confirm, twice. The TG862G appears on the Comcast website as an Extreme compatible D3 device. So, what gives?
He waived the shipping fee for a new modem but was unable to tell me what the new model was. Hummm....
