Our Tap is in a box located across the street in the easment underground. Everytime it rains the box fills up with 8-10 inches of water and the tap reamins completely submerged for weeks at a time until it finally dries out. During the time it is submerged, I lose internet connectivity and the signal varies. I seem to get better service if I pull the tap out of the box and leave it above ground to dry out. I have had techs out 5 times and while they agree my signal is not good, they have told me that having the tap submerged should not effect my signal. Instead they are going to drop a new line but still connect to the sunmerged tap. Does that sound right?
