Hi everyone,
So I just got upgraded to the HD Preferred Plus package which should give me 105d/20up, and doing speed tests it looks like I'm now getting the UL speed to match, but my DL speed has remained the same hovering around 19mbps.
Is anyone here able to see why that may be based on my modem stats? Any help is appreciated. Also for what it's worth, I did call in and spoke with someone who confirmed that they sent the signal to my modem in order to be capable of getting the higher internet service (long story, but the person who originally upgraded me insisted I needed a new modem, even though I pointed her to their own website which shows my current modem Arris TG-862 is perfectly capable of using the 105mbps down). So I called in after and the person agreed I don't need the "new" modem they sent me, and that my current modem should be fine, therefore she did something to "turn on" my current modem to get the new speeds.
