About a half hour ago, I lost access to the Internet through my Comcast "business class" service. I power cycled the router (SMCD3G) and it is now back up and running, but instead of three upstream channels, I now show one upstream channel and its power is 57 dBmV (!)
It is my understanding that an upstream power of 57 dBmV is only enough to support QPSK, yet the router status page shows 64QAM and a Comcast speedtest shows 57 mbit down / 11 mbit up. [I am subscribed to 50/10.]
This is in Ypsilanti MI. It almost seems as if the router's cable status display is wrong and everything else is working fine. Anyone else seen anything like this? Router US status below:
Upstream Frequency 30999732 Hz
Lock Status Locked
Modulation 64QAM
Symbol Rate 5120 KSym/sec
Upstream Power 57.0000 dBmV
Channel ID 5
