I came across a page on Comcast.net that is about the new tiered plans that they are testing. One is a hard 300 GB cap and the other is tiered based on the speed level that you are subscribed to.
Both have $10 per 50 GB overages.

Of course you can avoid the caps by getting your video through either Comcast or DirecTV.

I've experienced ImOn (when they were McLeod USA), Mediacom, Comcast, and Time Warner and I currently have DirecTV. They are much better than broadcast TV.
I have not and will not cut the cord.
