Problem:
I have had Comcast's extreme service for a whole year now. I just recently upgraded my own modem because Comcast never told me the speed increased (The original modem was theirs and only a 4-channel). The speed increased in my area over 4 months ago (105-150 down), or so my billing statement says... Before the increase I was receiving 70-80 and 120 during non peek hours. I now receive 15-90, I was down to .5 for a few days because they didn't secure my cable at the end of my driveway. I have had 4 "Techs" come out and check and they didn't even know there was a 150, this was within the past 2 months... I'm surprised they don't have meetings to tell the staff that new products have arrived, but I forget that cable companies just love to rub their nips. I should also mention that my modem had to be put into the system 2 times at Comcast...
I'm really out of ideas. I'm also not sure what info to post to get any help. I've seen this forum pop up every time I search Google for a problem so I thought this would be the absolute best place to ask.
