I have the ubee evm320b voip modem from Comcast
I currently have a Belkin N750DB wireless router...I have never gotten great speeds via wifi so I bought a new Linksys a few months ago but my speeds were even lower, so I returned it and stuck with my Belkin
I have now been provisioned to the 105/10 tier and I am getting 122/12 hardwired through the router but I have trouble breaking 30Mb on any of my devices via wifi
Can someone recommend a router that will 100% work with Comcast and give me 120Mb speeds via wifi(preferably gigabit also)...I want to try and keep the prices below $130 and don't care if it's the new AC class because none of my devices are.
Secondly, is this ubee voip modem good enough, or is there a better one that I could trade in for (I'm in Northern VA). I'd be willing to get a gateway from Comcast if it meant full wifi speeds, but I also don't want to pay a modem fee each month...right now I am not being charged for my ubee
Lastly, I currently use a powerline ethernet for one of my laptops located far away from the router... the adapter is rated at 500Mbps but not getting past 65Mbps which I guess is more like the real world limit...I have been looking into MoCa and am a little confused...is MoCA worth looking into or should I just try and stick with wifi?...I'd be happy with wifi as long as I could get the full speeds throughout the house.
