My brother told me about this forum, hopefully someone here can assist. My wife and I signed up for a new account last week, and had numerous problems, including having to spend hours at home on the phone with representatvies, instead of being at work. Having our service cancelled entirely when we asked to not have a technician come out, and finally being charged more than the plan we signed up for. We signed up for the Performance plan, under Xfinity Internet. 25mb/s for $29.99/m for the first year. Comcast is charging us $39.99 a month. When we called to try and get things sorted, the first representative told us that the $29.99 plan didn't exist at all, she couldn't find it, and we must be mistaken. Even though we were looking at it online. The second representative we talked to told us that it did exist, but only as an additional service for existing customers. She told me there was a keyword "Multi" in the more info section. I did not see the words multi anywhere, and this service is offered under "New customers". How can a service exist as an add on, but for new customers, who have no account to add on to?
