This may be in this forum somewhere, but I can't seem to locate specifics for a novice like myself. I have a single static IP that I want to set up for RDC into a specific computer in our office network through the internet. I now there is a way to do it that would be safe from intrusion, but as I said most of the threads I have read may be a little beyond my novice comprehension. I know I should be able to port to it and allow access, just not sure of the settings. But I am willing to learn if anyone here has the ability to teach. I would like to configure our network for the best performance. I know that it could be tweaked, just don know how.
Our set-up is as follows: One port of the SMC connected to a D-Link DGS-1024D Gigabit switch, All office PC and Printers tied to switch directly. That's it.
