I haven't been able to find a Comcast forum on here, so am trying this one.
Am at my Wit's End trying to use the Internet with Comcast's Xfinity service.
Often times I cannot even complete a speed test because the service slows down so much. Last test I completed, I got download of 0.8 Mbps, and upload of 1. I am supposed to be getting 10-15.
Sent a new modem with DOCSIS 3.0 supposedly to increase speeds. Had a Tech come. Tried another new modem. Even new computer. Many chats with Comcast reps. In all instances, nothing wrong. The service looks good, they tell me. "That's Just The Way It Is."
BULL - that CANNOT be the way it is!!! THey have a funny definition of "good."
I can connect to online sites faster using 3G on my phone than I can using the Comcast service.
Oh how I long for my Optimum service!
We have to alternative. What the heck can I do? Comcast is worse than a Tin Can!
