[Price] Triple Play WITHOUT Voice Modem

Currently I’m on Double Play, but, price-wise, I’m being brutally raped by Comcast and can’t do much about it. The cartel, I mean Comcast, has offered me Triple Play for less than I’m paying for Double Play, but I have absolutely zero need or desire for their voice service and related modem. So, does anyone here have Triple Play, but use a standard non-voice/non-EMTA modem? Any issues? Did you have to bribe someone at Comcast to get this configuration to work? I’m happy with my current configuration and don’t want new hardware f*cking it up. Cheers.
