I'm frustrated and I need advice on how to handle this situation. I just got Comcast for the first time in like 10 years on June 3rd. I have a triple play package with blast 50/10 internet in South San Francisco, CA.
Everything was great and awesome and fine until last Thursday, June 27th. On Thursday the 27th my connection kept going off and on and my speedtests would range from .30ish mbps to 30ish mbps. The connection was unstable like this all day from 9am until I went to bed. I noticed on the Arris modem status page that my downstream 8 had really high uncorrectables, it was in the millions. I contacted Comcast via the online chat but the rep couldn't view my screenshots and didn't seem to care.
A tech was scheduled to come out Saturday morning which the soonest. On Friday the connection was fine so I canceled the tech. Saturday and Sunday the connection was fine. Now its monday around 11am and I am having the same problem again. I used the online chat and after going through the motions the rep wanted to send someone out the next day. I declined because I didn't want to risk someone coming out, the problem not happening, and me being charged for the service call.
At about 2:00PM the problem seemed to stop. But now at 2:15 its happening again. I can't even open a webpage.
Here are screenshots of the Arris status page while the issue was happening.

Its only my downstream that becomes unstable, never upstream. Upload speeds are always fine.
My PC is running Windows 7 64bit and I'm connected via ethernet cable to my router.
I have confirmed the issue is not with my router by connecting my desktop pc directly to the modem. To confirm there isn't a problem with my desktop I also tested my laptop hardwired to the modem.
I have also tried multiple ethernet cables and confirmed the problem happens with different cables.
So where do I go from here? What do I do?
