Recently I have had cable Internet services installed by Comcast Communications and have subscribed to the Comcast Performance: 25 Mbps / 5 Mbps (Downstream / Upstream) rate tier.
A technician ran a line from the service vendor's outside box to the service site. Two splitters are used: one two-way splitter and one four-way splitter. The cable modem was supposed to be connected directly to the two-way splitter (difficult to verify by tracing the cable).
I have a Motorola/ARRIS SB6141 cable modem (Hardware Version: 7.0, according to firmware diagnostic page). At this time there are no other devices connected to the splitters, but four other RG-6 cables were run from the four way splitter.
I have attached a report with the diagnostic signal levels from the cable modem. The outside air temperature was about 22.3 degrees Fahrenheit outside when the diagnostic was taken.
Do the signal levels appear good for a new install? Is there anything I should be concerned about?
