I got the flyer recently to upgrade for free (2 year contract), I don't really watch much TV live (HBO Go and the like is great), but my kids do. The new features seemed like the family would like them and I got locked in at my current rates (Triple Play @ $199.95 a month vs the $179.95 I was already paying) for the next two years. It mentioned faster internet as well and I am a network engineer by trade so that sounded like a deal too good to pass up.
I called and asked what speeds and confirmed I'd get 4 boxes for the quoted rate. They told me 150Mbps (which in my area is Business Class) and the 4 boxes and install is covered.
However; my first bill and speedtest's confirm I am still on 105Mbps and when I called in today they confirmed that is all that's offered.
Just a warning to others in case this is typical, not sure if I have any recourse.
I am happy with the 105Mbps service (I consistently get 110-115Mbps+ during peak times over wifi even), but I wanted 150Mbps for upgrading.
