We had a scheduled power outage. Following day I've noticed with some streaming videos it would buffer. Did speedtest.net and speedtest.comcast.net both were around 25/11 (I'm paying for Blast 50/10 w/ self purchased SB6141.
Called Comcast today and oversees call center agent was telling me that 6120 (my old modem that I don't have for 3 months) on my account is not DOCSIS 3 compatible. It took me couple of minutes to explain that nothing has changed and 6141 is compatible and on Comcast approved list.
She was "checking" something and "added" my modem to my account.
Below are before and after pictures of devices on my account.
She said that it takes 24hrs for modem to remove my modem from online account which I did not believe but she promised me to call me back tomorrow.
My question is who can remove old modem?
I feel like same issue will happen again.
