[E-mail] New email problem - help !

Since last night, I can not get ANY emails from my PRIMARY Comcast email account downloaded to my POP3 email client (Windows Mail 7 on Vista). My secondary accounts emails download just fine. I've sent myself test messages that ARE there in my Comcast webmail account; they just don't download. Arghhh. The error (timeout) message I get is: " Account: 'REDACTED@comcast.net', Server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC19" Everything is set the same on all of the account setup on my client per screenshot. I have been working with an escalation specialist for the past 2 weeks about an issue of not getting emails to download from 11 March 2011 back to 2004. This is a new quirk. He keeps relaying info back and forth to the National Engineering group. Took 10 days to get him to understand that I did not have an IMAP client, lol. Help -- that noise you hear is me banging my head on my monitor. -- Please support Great Lakes Bengal Rescue, a 501c3 charity.
