Hey folks!
Here is my situation:
I recently moved into a guest house which is located on my landlord's property where he also lives in a separate house on the same lot. I have a cable running into my guesthouse that I use for XFinity Cable T.V. (this is included in my rent). What I don't have is internet. I know my landlord pays for internet for his house but I have no wireless connection in my guesthouse and there's no modem in there.
So my question is, how expensive would it be for my landlord to have Comcast set up a modem in my guesthouse so that I have internet? I've heard varying opinions. My friend told me it should just be around $15 extra a month, but then I've heard from others that it would have to be a 2nd account, which I'm assuming would be around $40 a month. I've tried calling Comcast on my own to set up internet but they won't talk to me since they already service my landlord on the same property.
I'd really appreciate any input!! I'm trying to get an idea on finances before I bother my landlord with this issue.
