A big thank you to Netcool (Thank you!), who fixed my ipV6 problem. As you may remember, a few days ago I posted that my modem rebooted, and that I went from 8 x 3 to 15 x 3, but I had lost ipV6. There was some discussion involving frequencies, though it is not possible that it could be a frequency problem, as the two issues are not in the same layer in the OSI model. I mentioned to him that I had also been assigned a new ipV4 address, reported to be in California (I am in Pennsylvania). I also mentioned that I didn't really care about that, but just mentioned it in case it was helpful. In response, he mentioned that I was probably moved to a new CMTS. Anyway, the problem, as described by Netcool, was:
"Looks like the IPv6 prefix delegation scopes were deactivated on the new CMTS you moved to. I reset your modem and I now see it pulling an IPv6 prefix".
I confirmed this when I got home. Everything is working perfectly, and BTW, my Blast! speed is pretty consistently now exceeding 125/12, I imagine due to the extra DS channels.
