I currently don't have Comcast service. Over the past few days I was letting my DPC3008 and MI424WR sit so I could monitor my signals since I was considering Blast Plus (in which case, my signals swayed a whole lot).
Tonight I noticed my MI424WR started flickering in terms of activity(LEDs). I connected to its wireless and didn't notice anything really unusual. I go to load a website to get the walled garden to show up to confirm it's still working. It actually loads the website and at first I'm confused since I don't remember switching back to my regular network. I look at the SSID and I see the MI424WR's and my face goes O_O. I go to Speedtest.net and it was actually on Comcast and was Blast....
My modem was syncing at 3 upstream(it was only syncing with 1 without being registered).
I tried rebooting everything a few times and it won't go away! How do I get my modem unregistered from whoever person's account this is?
Anyone have any advice?
What do I do!?
Edit:
I tried the little "forgot my password" Comcast thing since I remember that usually brings up the user's email of the registered account. However, it brought up no results so there goes that in hopes of finding the person...
I turned off my router and modem in fright lol.
Also, as a side note, is this too much sway in your opinion?
