I see a lot of negative remarks about Comcast service, I have seen just the opposite.
I had been having signal problems and slow page openings, actually just all around slow since they added a 3rd up channel, which was just a coincidence.
I called Comcast at 9:30AM Saturday and the tech was on site at 2:55PM. After testing everything from my modem out and changing the ones that didn't look right, found there was a bad tap on the pole. That was 4:00PM
At 9:10AM this morning (Sunday) a bucket truck pulled up and the tap was changed and everything on the pole cleaned up before 10:00AM and everything is working fine.
I went out to thank the tech and he said he knew the Seattle Seahawks game was on at 10:00AM so wanted to make sure we were back up and working by that time.
That is a big thing for me as my son is in the military and I slingbox the Hawks games to him.
Other parts of the country may be different, but we see nothing but excellent service from Comcast in my neck of the woods. :)
