I've read many reports of significant spead loss below the paid speeds. However, renting a modem from Comcast on a BlastPro plan I've been receiving 245/12 on most speedtests. As soon as I switched to the MB8600 I max out around 205/12. Given, the BlastPro plan is 200/10. But... why should I lose speeds between modems?
To note - my friend just got an MB8600 as well and he was able to get speeds up to 245/12. Is there any tweaking/configuration suggested or do I just need to RMA for another unit?
