I'm a subscribed to Blast Plus Xfinity in Houston TX, using a Motorola SB6121 modem.
I connected to my work VPN at 8am (central time) and everything was fine, at around 10am I started noticing some lag, things got progressively worse until i was finally disconnected.
I did a quick check and my download speed was fine but my upload speed ranges from 27kbps~200kbps. I called comcast support twice but they're unable to see anything on their end but the problem persists.
Here's what i've done so far:
Checked modem signals (looks good)
Replaced coax cable from wall socket to modem (no splitters)
Tried various PCs
Reboot cable mode
Removed router and switch from network path, connected PC directly to modem.
Connected another PC directly to the modem.
Reset cable modem configuration and reboot (to re-provision)
Powered off modem for approx an hour (to test overheating possibility)
I created an imgur album containing
Modem signals
Traceroute to yahoo.com & google.com
Shaperprobe output
PingTest.net output
Freeola line test output

I don't know what else to do at this point. Customer support is not being very helpful, thought someone here might have a better idea.
Anyone in Houston experiencing the same issues?
