I subscribe only to Internet packages. Currently I have old Performance Pro 175mb plan which promo expired and the price jumped from $55 to $85 . Last year, I just contacted mods on reddit and could just straightforward ask for promo without playing games. This time around, since Reddit or Comcast forums take forever to answer due to pandemic, I tried to negotiate by phone. I called 1800-XFINITY and told robo I am cancelling service, once I got transferred I asked rep about available 12 months promo just for Internet but all he offered me is same listing I found by logging on the website which is dual play packages or more expensive month to month Internet only plan options, no cheaper Internet plans with 12 month agreement.
I don't know if I should call again and actually threaten to cancel. I am curious if anybody had to do it recently and was successful? In the meantime I am hanging tight until mod responds on Reddit or Comcast Forum.
I am trying to bump my tier to Blast 300mb plan but don't wanna spend on it more than $65 which is available to new customers in my area vs $80 month to month offered to me as existing customer.
