I thought I was having an issue with my connection as I'm unable to achieve download speeds greater than 500 Mbps using the Xfinity speedtest site, even though I have a Gb connection and have routinely been able to achieve 940 Mbps hardwired or using WiFi6.
I tried my laptop wired with CAT6 directly off the ethernet port on the modem, and couldn't get any speedtest result greater than 500 Mbps using the Xfinity test. Downloads on the tests have been capped around 450-475 Mbps. Speedtest.net seems to yield better results as high as 750 Mbps, so it doesn't look like it's the modem provisioning (which was my first thought).
Anyone else seeing inaccurate and low results on the Xfinity speedtest site?
