So some have followed my threads of my upload speed issues from months past. It was resolved for a few months but has yet again returned.
We recently had a storm that that seems to have trigged issues but I don't have any signal problems.
Uploading is bouncing anywhere been 5 and 40 Mbps.
I'm starting to wonder if they are throttling my upload speed because it sure seems like it. It's known they don't thorttle but with how scummy Comcast is I would not be surprised if they are doing this and lying their asses off.
I wish i could launch a lawsuit for false advertising and abuse of monopolistic practices.
Unfortunately, I can't go down the path of trying to get this resolved again because the tech ops supervisor for my area is worthless and incompetent at their job. Any attemptes to get this fixed has gone through them. They came out once on the finial attempt to get this fixed and I had to tell them how to do their job.
They had no clue that they had to reboot a modem if you change devices to get an IP address if you have a gateway in bridge mode or have a pure modem among other dumb things like testing 400 Mbps download because their laptop was too slow to test gigabit and saying their laptop doesn't have a gigabit NIC just to give you a level of how bad it was...
How they got hired with barely any knowledge is beyond me.
Seriously, F*** this worthless company. I would drop it yesterday for literally anything comparable.
Also an entirety later and mid-split is missing and we're still stuck with piss poor upload speeds when it does work correctly.
