About this intermittent dropping via the SBG6850 - when I called Comcast, and had techs come out, I was told to complain to Arris about the firmware being pushed onto my modem. Arris tells me they have no way to access Comcast's system, and that Comcast upgraded my modem, not them.
HOW does this stuff get upgraded? Does Arris do it? Or does Comcrap? If I decide to report them to the FCC, because I just might, I need to be right about this.
The way it looks, hundreds of people (if not thousands who just haven't complained online) are paying for a service and not getting it. We are waiting around for/calling techs that don't know anything about this stuff that is going on. I can't take this, I have enough aggravation in my life, and if I had a choice I'd get rid of it. But I work from home, I can't have unreliable internet, and that's what our local DSL is.
