I'm posting this for my sister.
She started out with "Performance" Internet and then was [supposedly] moved to "Blast" as part of a double-play deal for 12 months. She's been complaining about slow/sluggish, sometimes even non-loading of various Web pages, which includes YouTube (videos often start 'n stop, start 'n stop, sometimes with endless buffering) and Facebook (sometimes loading bar o her tablet moves a bit, can creep along and the speed up until page is fully-loaded. This can occur at anytime of the day, afternoon evening/night and early morning hours (1-5 am). She's using a relatively new laptop computer and a brand new tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab3).
All cable connections have been checked and verified (by a Comcast tech) to be working properly, her wireless network is secured and she had been checking the download/upload speed (during various times and across last week) using the Xfinity Speed Check site via the rented Arris modem/router model TG862GCT.
Sometimes the download speed would be as low as .5 mb and averaging 5-6 mb with an occasional high of 10-12 mb. Most noteworthy, the upload speed was often double that of the download speed.
I'm at her residence right now, and to get the most accurate speed test possible, with no other devices in use, a short while ago, I connected her computer directly to the Arris modem/router using the Ethernet cable and ran several consecutive speed tests.

***She said speeds were better, more consistant with "Perfomance" especally after the free speed increase. She said this "Blast" is more like Blah and feels that she's not getting what she's paying for. What do you guys think?
