Just got CDV setup at our house, I thought getting it would be fine as our Internet connection never has any problems (very low jitter/low latency), and our VoIP services work great on it too (ooma, anveo, and I've tried Callcentric too).
What I don't understand is when making calls to our POTS line (of which it's number is about to be ported to this CDV line), they can often tend to be very choppy on the upstream end. Calling our VoIP lines sound great in both directions and same for the cellphones too.
What the hell can cause this? We've had business voice elsewhere before and it NEVER had this happen in two years. (Only time anything like that happened was when upstream SNR was very low on the plant, but that effected everything)
I'm afraid to call support as they won't know what I'm talking about and it sounds like a backend issue.
