Just logged in to My Account on Comcast and noticed that the serial number for my leased modem is not anywhere remotely close to the sticker on my modem. It appears to be a weird version of the MAC ID -- just without the colons.
My modem is the Arris WMB760a. I took a screenshot of what Comcast is showing for it; not sure if I should post the pic with all of the info.
Wouldn't this cause a problem if I have to swop this modem later and the serial number not matching the modem sticker? Can anyone here help with that, please? (I'd rather chew off my legs than call Comcast ....:-( )
