I currently have DirecTV and ATT 6mb Uverse, which is the highest I can get. I decided to have Comcast come out and install just internet only, but I'm worried that I will have to run a separate coax cable from my box to one of my inside jacks. I have attached a picture showing the current setup.
I have two HD DVR and one SD DVR in my house, so all available jacks are being used by DirecTV. Three cables are going into the splitter, but there is one that is not being used at all. I have no idea what this cable is for, but I assume something. The three also go into my wall together, and the separate one goes in at another place.
I live in a townhouse with an HOA, and my box is on the back of my storage unit, which is far from my bedroom and living room jack. I cannot let Comcast drill through my siding at all, and I can't have wires showing outside, they must be hidden.
Any help would be much appreciated because I may need to cancel my installation so I'm not charged.
