[IPv6] New SB6141, can I use IPv6 WAN and IPv4 LAN?

I was having trouble with my old Docsis 2.0 modem, so I just upgraded to a new SB6141. I activated it when directly connected to a Windows 7 PC. With the direct connection on Win7, IPv6 seems to work fine and the Comcast test page shows 10/10 IPv6 working. Now, I've connected the SB6141 to my Asus RT-N16 (Tomato USB) with IPv6 disabled and all my LAN machines are working fine on IPv4. I do have an old Windows XP machine on the network, which I don't think supports IPv6. Is it possible to set the external WAN connection from the modem to the router as IPv6 and then have the LAN set for IPv4? Is there any point in doing so? From what I've read, I'm guessing I should stick with all IPv4 as long as I have an old machine on my LAN. Is that right? Does the SB6141 still use all the Docsis 3.0 features like multichannel bonding when using IPv4? Would IPv4 vs. IPv6 affect Netflix and other streaming video performance or gaming ping/lag? I did speedtest comparisons and didn't see a difference.
