I am thinking of getting the Comcast home control offering for $9.95 per month. I like the idea of being able to look in on my house and control the lights remotely.
I am thinking of one camera and a couple of light switches. As for climate control, I have line voltage thermostats so they are not compatible.
Has anyone been able to try this out.
I am going to keep the security portion with the local company that does my alarm system.

I've experienced ImOn (when they were McLeod USA), Mediacom, Comcast, and Time Warner and I currently have DirecTV. They are much better than broadcast TV.
I have not and will not cut the cord.
