I signed a business service contract with Comcast about two years ago. Since then I have had my modem fee increased and have had the fees for my static IP addresses raised twice. The equipment fee for my modem ($7) is written on the first page of the contact as is the price for my IP addresses ($9.95), just a few lines below the price I am to be charged for my internet service. When I have called Comcast to point out that I have a contract and that I was told by my sales person that all these prices were locked in for the 36 months I am under contract, I have received various responses, most along the lines of "According to our terms of service we can raise the equipment fee and the IP address fees anytime we want to..." So I looked at the terms of service. I am covered by version V. 19 Effective SEP 19 2012. I cannot find where they have excluded my IP addresses and my modem from being locked into the price I agreed to pay (and they agreed to charge me) anywhere in this version of the TOS. Can someone point me to the part of the contract I agreed to that allows them to change the charges for these items at will while I am under contract?
